High prolactin level, need help lowering it

ad

Ok here is the deal, I am 41 and I have been on physician prescribed TRT for 12 years now in EU. My andrologist is a cool guy, but he is on the older side. Up until a few months ago I was on Omnadren 250 every 3 weeks and I was getting ok results with it, however I am one of those people who has to use an AI to combat aromatase. Up until a few months ago I was on Symex ( Aromasin for you guys in the US ) @ 6.25mg every 3rd day and it kept my E2 in check, however my prolactin level was almost 1000, I don't know the correlating values in the US but here the norm is somewhere around 125-315. When I found out I had such high prolactin levels, I found some old Arimidex 1mg tablets I had from years ago that were prescribed to me, but they caused a estrogen crash when I took 1mg EOD for 7 days and on the 8th day I started urinating like crazy, my blood pressure went up high and I felt an impending doom and felt like total crap for a good 3 weeks. I put that drug aside and switched over to Aromasin and haven't looked back. Now switch back to now, I found my old Arimidex package and I read up on medical journals that men who are on TRT can use Arimidex to combat Prolactin, so I decided to give this drug another go. This time I cut the 1mg tablet into 4 pieces .25mg each and I decided to stop Symex ( Aromasin ) for 2 weeks and then I took my first dosage of Adex. I decided to use it like this, Mon, Thur etc etc. This time after a week and a half I did not crash and I felt ok. Then about 2 weeks later I did bloods again and my prolactin level was 350. So here is the question, should talk to my doctor about switching me over to adex, or can Symex ( Aromasin ) do the same thing adex does to combat prolactin ? Another question, I was switched to Testosterone Enanthate @ 100mg/ml, The doctor said to take it once every 14 days, but I was thinking of splitting the dose to two .5ml syringes and take one per week at 50mg, would this be beneficial to 100mg every two weeks and if so why? Thank you for your time reading my post.

What I really want to know guys is can Aromasin fight Prolactin like Arimidex can ? As I have both on hand so it would be a matter of switching the medication.

To pro-actively combat prolactin, you need to keep your vitamin B6 levels high. The P5P version of it is best suited for that. Should take Universal Nutriton's Animal Pak vitamins every day too. To re-actively combat prolactin, you can take cabergoline. Dostinex is the name brand version of that. Things like Sustanon 250 and just being in Europe in general the mindset is a bolus shot or less frequent injections which nowadays we all know can cause problems with blood levels. You should split up your doses between Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This will keep your blood levels stable, not have any side effects and not even need an AI either if you do it this way.

I don't think my country carries Dostinex, but I will check, although I read the drugs profile and the side effects are serious. If my doctor agrees with my adex suggestion that might be all the help I need to control prolactin, after all from 1000 down to 350 in a manner of 3~ weeks is a step in the right direction. I can't split up my doses on a Mon Wed Fri because my test enan comes in 1ml amps, the best I could do is split them into halves. We don't have 10ml vials that you could dose however mls you wanted here in EU, at least not in my country. I will take your B6 vitamin under consideration after some further research, but thank you for the tip. I already take a multivitamin supplement from a local pharmacy daily.
