+ 10 Bouncing back from a total tricep rupture at 49.

ad

Eight months ago I completely tore my tricep off my right arm. I didn’t do it lifting. It was an old static line injury from my airborne days. 57 jumps out of high performance aircraft and something is going to happen. I took four months off from lifting and cruzed on Armani’s Sustanon at 250 a week. Once I was released to lift I bumped it up to 350 test-p and 350 npp a week along with 50 Dbol pre workout. I only worked out twice a week and did rehab until that last pic was taken last month. I just want to give Armani a shoutout for the smoothest gear I’ve ever used. Armani is 9 and should be higher. I’ll post a review but if it starts to get picked apart by guys who don’t look as good as I do I’ll take it down. Ya dig… if you post a damn negative comment on this site you should have to post a recent pic of your physique period. It would shut a bunch of these blow hards up. I’m 49 just shy of 50 and I’ve only been on gear since I turned 36. I know what works for me but I won’t give advice because everyone is genetically different and what works for one person won’t do it for someone else. Remember that when receiving advice on here.

Do you feel as though the anabolics helped in recovery?

SDABPT's picture

As soon as I tore it I dropped down to 250 Sustanon a week which is basically nothing. I cruzed and didn’t work out for four months until I got my brace off. When I started physical therapy I started working out twice a week and started blasting. I did three months of TB-500 and BPC-157 along with the blast and together yes I believe the NPP helped. At least it felt like it did but who knows. I made damn good progress.

Hell ya the results speak for themselves!

Keep grinding brother! I tore my triceps tendon in half and also tore my triceps muscle in the process. 53 yrs old and I kept working out my uninjured side and lower body. Took lots of Bpc and TB and started rehab on my own 4 months later. Over a year out and doing well.

SDABPT's picture

Hell yeah brother that’s all we can do is embrace the suck and keep grinding. I’m glad your doing better! These youngsters don’t know what’s a head of em. Getting older comes with these kinds of challenges but I won’t ever stop working out… ever

You my friend are AWESOME!!! You kicked your injuries ass and came out better than before. You look great and know your body and know what works FOR YOU!!! It takes a few years(decades in some cases) to know, really know what works beat for you. I've found it is A LOT easier to learn your own body after you lose your ego. You have done everything right and I wish you continued success.

Thank you for those kind words brother. I learned to loose the ego a long time ago. Just pay attention and take notes when your learning. When you first start out write it all down in a journal and make notes on a calendar about everything supplement, food and training. If you do that you can figure out what works. Also don’t be scared to scrap a cycle if it isn’t working or giving you bad sides. Take something out and add something in its place. I always start with the minimum amount of a compound and add more until it gets redundant or I feel or see side effects I don’t want. Getting huge ain’t worth dying for.

Thank you for the kind words. And it was an honor to serve this country. It truely was.

First and foremost thank you for your service. I know most Americans including many don't have the balls to endure and perform the tasks you did.

It looks like you've made an awesome recovery. You look great. Lean with significant mass. I'm you have put a ton of time into PT and in the gym. Keep up the good work.

Phenomenal shape and condition regardless of age, period. Congrats on your recovery. Sounds like a horrific injury.

Planning my next cycle very similar to what you’ve just run mate. Will post results up after. Wish me luck!

SDABPT's picture

Thank you for the kind words. I love that cycle and I hope you see the same kind of benefits that I did. That Dbol pre workout kept me motivated and in the beginning probably was the only reason I went to the gym. Great compound.

RobertB80's picture

Were you running it 50mgs in one dose pre workout mate? Found 40mgs split into two doses too high for me. Opting for injectable version next time to run it for longer.

SDABPT's picture

I ran it in two doses, half two hours before and half later that day. Just on the days I worked out.

Hell yea! Nice recovery! Looking great!

That last statement is VERY true. Heck even with mild corticosteroids people can have different experiences on. I just found out that certain allergy meds, and asthma meds will bring about anxiety and insomnia. So no more symbicort, claritan, or Flonase for me. Most of these pamphlets even state users experience taking this med may vary.

I couldn't get past the fitness model body look for so long until I figured out exactly what works for me and how it works and the timing to do things. One big balancing act up on the tightrope

I hope I look that good in another five years.

Yeah I had to experiment a whole lot when I first started. There are a lot of compounds I won’t touch that seem to work great for others but I eventually found what works for me. No long esters for me except Sustanon for Cruze and the less the better. For npp I noticed anything less than 350 a week was just a waste. People don’t like it when I tell em this but it’s really all diet and discipline. And thanks for the like. +1 back

It really is, also avoiding the compounds that kill appetite, it's all user specified and goal depending. I am very fond of NPP also. And you're absolutely right about the dosage. My biggest games came from 5-600 mg per week , then began to titrate down at the 8-week mark for another four weeks. Liver enzymes definitely elevated. Mild on mental sides but remarkable for gains vascularity and healing

But that looked like it hurt bro I went through something that looks half as bad recently with my pec

SDABPT's picture

I know I said I never give advice but if I’m using compounds that trash my appetite I’ll run 10 mg MK-677 in the morning to counteract them. I’ll eat constantly on MK. My favorite compound is NPP right behind Test-p, the benefits to my joints are priceless. I used to run 500 test and 500 NPP a week but I’ve cut it back because of Hematocrit levels.

I’m sorry to hear about your pec bro. I hope it’s holding up for you. If you have any problems try BPC-157 or TB-500 and it will help heal it. I wouldn’t run those for more than three months at a time though. But hopefully you won’t need it. And mine was no worse than yours, both are horrible injuries.
